The meeting was called to order at 9:10 AM. In attendance were:

Jamie Dixon reported on the activities of the swim team. The Annual Road Race fundraiser will be held on May 3rd. Jamie also discussed his idea on the amount of time and space the swim team might need for their practices and meets. Jamie noted that some swim meets might be on Saturday mornings this year. The Board provided Jamie with some general feedback and Jamie plans to come back with a proposal for the Board to consider at the April meeting.
The Board welcomed Michelle Saleen as the new Social Committee Chairperson and had general discussions on the responsibilities and budget allocation for Highcroft socials.
The Board discussed the operation of the pool with Greg Cowen of Chase pool management. Included in the discussion were the benefits of installing a pool cover over the pool during the off season. Greg gave the Board in informal estimate of around $7,500 for the purchase and installation of a pool cover. If the Board wanted to go forward it would need to authorize the project in the June timeframe. The Board voted 4-0 in favor of operating the pool from May 17th to September 28th for the 2008 pool season.
Mal Shah left the meeting at 10 AM.
The Board further discussed with Greg the use of an auto feeder for chemicals in the pool and requested a quotation.
The Board approved the Viagas/Romick architectural request, with the exclusion of the mailbox trellis feature by a vote of 3-0.
The Board reviewed quotations from the recent RFQ on landscaping and requested that a representative of the current landscape company, Wakefield, attend the next meeting to discuss concerns the Board has with the current upkeep of the association property.
The next meeting was set for March 28 and the meeting adjourned at 10:55 AM.
